Charlie Morey
Four decades of experience, rich in traditional photography, photojournalism, journalism, creative writing, graphic design and computer graphics has prepared self-taught digital artist Charlie Morey for his current endeavor, producing fine art giclée prints based on computer-enhanced digital photographs. Morey's photography experience began in the mid-1960s with a second-hand 35mm Minolta viewfinder camera, purchased at a pawn shop in Bangor, Maine, and used to launch a lifetime avocation of creating fine art imagery. Charlie Morey's photographs and articles have been published in magazines around the globe, including England's What Digital Camera, Singapore's Asian GEOgraphic Magazine, and a series of photography how-to articles in Petersen's PHOTOgraphic. His fine-art monochrome work was featured in a March 2008 B&W Magazine "Spotlight" article. |
