Martha Higgins’ experience and education in fine art began in elementary school and continued through college. As her artwork became more functional, Higgins apprenticed as a cabinet/furniture maker for a number of years. Realizing it was actually space and environment that intrigued her she earned a BFA in Interior Design from Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, WA. Higgins incorporates Feng Shui as well as Color Therapy into her designs. As M HIGGINS CRAFTING ENVIRONMENTS she cultivated designs for fitness centers, day spas and residential remodels from 1997 – 2004.
